Xiao Li AW15

Xiao Li develops her signature style of combining traditional knit with new innovative techniques in manufacturing.   Inspired by 60s street style the collection explores the contradictions of fast fashion and beautifully crafted garments.

The winter collection takes its cues from mass consumerism and genetically modified foods. A knitted tomato features on an oversized sweater and a giant perfume bottle on a winter coat, made of the finest wool.

Knitted graphics appear three dimensional and over-lays of wool structures give form, appearing animated.

Silicone accessories, shoes and bags add yet another lecture to this collection.

Xiao Lo constantly strives to create new ways of designing and manufacturing.  Always questioning the effect go fashion in our modern world.
