The inspiration for the 2017 collection it’s said to come from Glamourous individuals, luxury hotel dwellers that make their permanent home the many interesting properties around the globe. From luxury comes this collection, full in glamour and the Ritz. Full of glamour; charmingly and fascinatingly attractive, especially in a mysterious or magical way. That is how the collection seem to unveil.
About the Designer
Founded in New York in 2012, GEORGINE is a luxury womenswear label created by Designer Georgine Ratelband and her partner Chris Roshia.
GEORGINE evokes the power of femininity through seductive silhouettes enhanced by intricate detailing and extraordinary fabrics. The collection reflects a sense of vivid elegance and inspires confidence, focusing on craftsmanship and the perfect fit.
Prior to graduating from Istituto Europeo di Design in 2011, Georgine’s thesis-collection was purchased by a prestigious boutique called SIEN in Antwerp, Belgium. Impressed with her creative spirit and the auspicious introduction to the industry, Chris decided to take 3 months off work to help her build a strong foundation and get the right structure in place to launch the company. Chris never returned to work.
The designer’s motto is that the garment should look as beautiful from the inside as from the outside. From material to garment, each piece exemplifies only the highest of Italian craftsmanship.
